Information

I would consider myself a conceptual artist with a penchant for drawing. My work is diverse in material and method, subjects vary widely but topics generally concern time and value, scale and pace, as well as drawing and the internet. My work is often durational and tedious, involving precise to-scale reproductions or forgeries, repetitive actions, and absurd cataloging.

Recently, I had a solo exhibition Folder: MATERIAL RESEARCH> 08.charcoal (2024) and participated in group exhibitions, MARK: Contemporary Approaches to Drawing (2024). Previously, my work was included in Drawing Discourse: 12th Annual International Drawing Exhibition (2021, and published in Manifest Creative Research Gallery and Drawing Center's International Drawing Annual 13 (2019),

Starting in 2017, I began lecturing at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in the in the Drawing and Painting area, and also the and Sculpture and Expanded Practices Area beginning in 2024.
